Privacy Policy

South Core Roar (operated by the Fort William BIA Events Committee) collects only the information needed to register exhibitors, vendors, and email subscribers, and to report attendance metrics to our funding partners.

What We Collect

Name, email, phone, postal code, vehicle/business details where applicable. Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers.

Approximate Location

When you create an account we record the IP address of that request and use it to estimate the city, region, and country you signed up from. This look-up happens on our own server against a local database — your IP address is not shared with any third party. We use this only to understand, in aggregate, which areas our sign-ups come from for tourism reporting to our funders; it is never used to identify or track you. IP-based location is approximate. If you would prefer we not retain this, email privacy@southcoreroar.com and we will remove it.

How We Use It

To process your registration, send event communications, generate aggregate tourism reports for our funders (no personally identifying data shared), and contact you about future events if you opt in.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@southcoreroar.com.
